As a young graduate in 2006, the Lord asked me to go and study under Rev. Dr. Mike Wokomah Yeshua. Learning under him for this 20 years, I can summarize my learning outcome as "Faithful unto death."
Thank you Daddy, for modeling Christ and faithful service to him for me. You are indeed a great General of God's end time army. I miss you greatly.
Take your rest, and I shall see you again at the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Adieu! God's servant with great passion for souls.

Rev Mike Wokomah has remained one of my pillars of strength since i knew him especially when we were both colleagues at work. He contributed a lot to the spiritual growth of the community. He was very trust worthy. Each time we needed someone to entrust with issues around the communities, we defaulted to him. He trained so many youths on enterprise and supported them with startups and follow-up. At the time of death, he was a member of the Obagi Peace & Reconciliation Committee. He was a major part of the peaceful operations of the company that operated in his communities. The communities will surely miss Rev Mike. I will miss him for many things we shared together. He demonstrated love for me and my family.
I know that Rev Mike has departed to a better place to continue his service to the Almighty GOD.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
Amen

WALI LAYOUT LANDLORDS ASSOCIATION TRIBUTE TO LATE
REVEREND MIKE YESHUA
We received the news of the sudden demise of our colleague and friend – Reverend Mike Yeshua with sadness. But as a community, we are consoled by the quality of impact he made while he was with
us during this lifetime. Whether it was in a shared conversation or
in small acts of generosity, Rev. Mike always reminded us of the importance of empathy, compassion and unity.
And so, as we gather here today, to pay our last respect to a gentle
soul who dedicated himself to the service of God and humanity; it is
indeed a time of reflection of our earthly journey as pilgrims. Late
Rev. Yeshua was not just another member of our community, he
was a neighbor whose presence radiates peace and brings comfort
to our meetings. His unshakable beliefs in the love for God and one
another, respect and mutual co-existence are the virtues he lived by
and constantly communicated joyfully in his interactions with
members of the Wali Layout.
Rev. Yeshua was indeed a committed member of the Association in
words and deeds. He contributed to the progress of the Association
and was always willing to do anything within this powers to move
the layout forward. He gave the church Auditorium free of charge to
the Association for our monthly meetings. He also made sure that during those meetings, the generator was on stand by and sometimes provided entertainment all at his own cost.
The Association has truly lost a dedicated member and we will
dearly miss him. It is our earnest prayer that God Almighty shall
forgive him his shortcomings; comfort and console the family left
behind especially his dear wife.
May his gentle soul find rest in the bosom of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

GYO Children Bible Club (Studying the Bible and Having Fun)

Father

Tribute to Our Beloved Daddy and Patron.

Today, we gather not only to mourn a great loss, but to celebrate a life that touched and transformed so many others life.

Our children’s Bible club was blessed beyond measure to have had Daddy as our patron and sponsor; a man of faith, compassion, and unwavering generosity.

Through his quiet strength and steadfast love for God’s work,
Daddy became a pillar of support for our children and for all of us who serve them. Because of his kindness, many little hearts learned that they are loved by God, that their lives have purpose and that hope shines even in difficult times.Daddy did not only give resources; he gave his time, prayers, and encouragement. When we faced challenges, he reminded us that with faith, we could overcome.

Daddy, we will miss your laughter, wisdom, and presence, but we take comfort in knowing that the seeds of faith you planted will continue to grow in the lives of the children.

As the Apostle Paul wrote, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7).

Indeed, Daddy Mike Yeshua finished his race faithfully; and we believe, was welcomed home with the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”Your legacy of love will continue to light the path for generations to come.

It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to a pillar of faith, a beacon of wisdom, and a shining example of love and kindness—Rev. Dr. Mike Wokoma. To his family, the Wokoma family, and to the countless lives he touched, we extend our deepest condolences.

Rev. Dr. Mike Wokoma was more than a brother, friend, or mentor; he was a guiding light whose impact transcended generations. Born out of a legacy of friendship between our families, rooted in the bond between our fathers, the late Pa Lym Wokoma and the late Pa Jacob Ikeagwu, Mike embodied the spirit of unity, love, and service that defined our families' relationship.

Tribute to the Late Rev. Dr. Mike Wokomah
A Great Encourager of Missionaries and a Father to the Vulnerable
The passing of Rev. Dr. Mike Wokomah leaves a deep and quiet ache in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. He was a man whose life radiated compassion, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to the work of God. His presence was a shelter, his words a source of strength, and his heart a well of encouragement that never ran dry.
Rev. Dr. Wokomah carried a rare grace—the grace to uplift others. He believed deeply in the call of missionaries and invested himself wholly in their journey. With prayer, counsel, and sacrificial support, he strengthened those who carried the Gospel to difficult fields. Many who once felt inadequate, discouraged, or forgotten found in him a voice that reminded them of their purpose and a heart that walked with them. He was, truly, a missionary to the missionaries.
His compassion extended far beyond the pulpit. The vulnerable the poor, the broken, the overlooked found in him a father and a friend. He listened without judgment, gave without hesitation, and stood beside the hurting with a Christlike gentleness that changed lives. He taught us that ministry is not an institution but a heartbeat; not a title but a life poured out for others.
Rev. Dr. Wokomah’s legacy is not measured in years, achievements, or earthly accolades, but in the countless lives he touched. His influence lives on in the missionaries he empowered, the families he restored, the souls he led to Christ, and the many who discovered hope through his love.
Though we grieve his absence, we celebrate the life he lived a life marked by humility, service, intercession, and unwavering faith. We honor a man who finished his race with grace, and whose impact will echo for generations.
May the God he served so faithfully grant us the strength to carry forward his passion for missions and his heart for the vulnerable.
May his memory remain a blessing, an inspiration, and a reminder of what it truly means to live for Christ.
Rest in peace, Rev. Dr. Mike Wokomah.
Well done, good and faithful servant.

Elder Elvis CHINDAH.

Tribute To Late Rev. Mike Yeshua-A Rebel With A Cause.

I first met my brother and mentor late Rev. Mike Yeshua on the 18th of May, 1981, on resumption of duty in TOTAL E&P., then Elf Nigeria Limited. As my immediate supervisor, Mike was instrumental to providing guidance and helping me navigate, build HR skills necessary for my job.

Our relationship blossomed beyond the work place environment extending to our families and friends whereby I was seen at home in his family and vice versa. His power of friendship could be so so lovingly and infact intimidating.

Late Rev. Mike Yeshua loved the Church of Christ with so much passion, he also loved his community, Obagi.

He was very intentional in supporting his community through community employment opportunities back then in Elf, as much as he possibly could.
In the spiritual space he was consistent in sponsoring crusades in and around Egi Kingdom and other communities in Rivers State with the sole aim of winning souls for the kingdom. He initiated and supported community intervention projects in health and healthcare, widows and orphanage outreaches etc., using the instrumentality of Global Yeshua Ministries, a platform he founded for the propagation of the gospel.

Always firm and maybe very firm to whatever cause he laid his heart on.

Much like Saul of Tarsus, Mike spent part of his youth upholding the power of error but at the fullness of time Jesus Christ arrested and recruited him. Now like a born again Paul, Rev. Mike with his whirlwind approach uprooted everything and anything that could stand between him and Christ. He was there at every major crusade in Port Harcourt, exposing and disposing off the powers of darkness, to the glory of God!

He had to do a name change to reflect his glorious election into the marvelous Light of Christ, a soldierly calling. A faithful soldier of the cross, always at his duty post.
With the scars of battle all over him, he kept moving forward!

A true battle axe!

A life well spent, glory to God.

Tribute to Daddy Mike Yeshua

A beacon of faith, a vessel of grace—
Daddy Mike Yeshua walked into my life as a living testimony of God’s wisdom.
His words were seeds of truth, sown deep into my heart,
and from his discipline bloomed devotion, courage, and love for the Word.

He taught me that the journey with Christ knows no borders—
that making disciples is not a duty but the very heartbeat of heaven.
With gentle firmness, he molded my walk with God;
with unwavering faith, he lit my path in the work of the Bible Club and beyond.

Though his voice now rests, his spirit still speaks—
in my songs, my prayers, and my desire to serve faithfully.
I celebrate not only the life he lived,
but the legacy he planted in me—faith unshaken, love enduring.

Sleep on, dear father of faith,
till we meet again at the feet of the Master you so faithfully served.

He was my Boss at Total E&P

Tribute to a Remarkable Leader and Mentor
I mourn the loss of a great leader but to celebrate the life of someone who profoundly impacted each of us — Rev. Dr. Mike Yeshua
To many, he was a boss. But to those of us who had the privilege of working closely with him, he was so much more — a mentor, a guide, a source of strength, and often, a quiet but steady light in our professional and personal lives.
He led not with ego, but with empathy. Not with demands, but with encouragement. His door was always open — not just in the literal sense, but in the way he made each of us feel heard, valued, and capable of more than we believed possible.
I remember when he visited me in the USA and spent a week visiting to find out how I was doing. That moment, like so many others, reminded me that leadership is not about titles or power, it’s about people. And Rev. Dr. Mike understood that better than anyone.
He believed in excellence, but never at the expense of compassion. He challenged us to grow, to think bigger, to act with integrity and to always bring our full selves to the work we do.
Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy lives on — in the lessons we carry, the values we uphold, and the countless lives he touched with grace and generosity.
We will miss his wisdom, his laughter, and the quiet confidence that made us all feel safe under his leadership. But most of all, we will miss the person — the heart behind the title.
Rest well, Rev Dr. Mike You led with purpose, and you leave behind a legacy of love, leadership, and light.
Adieu super boss and mentor.
